COVID-19 Trends in the Amplity Real-World Research Database

Coronaviruses are human and animal pathogens. In late 2019, a novel coronavirus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), was identified from a cluster of cases occurring in the city of Wuhan, China, and subsequently spread throughout the world giving rise to a pandemic. In this white paper, we report the demographics, symptoms, comorbidities, and COVID-19 risk factors, and treatments received by patients in the Amplity Real-World Research Database who either had a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (positive or negative) or who had at least 3 symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in 2020.
