Access the Terms of Use of our Sites.

Definitions used in this Privacy Notice

“Amplity”, “we”, “us” means Amplity, Inc. and all of its affiliated and subsidiary companies.

“Cookies” means cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, clear gifs, and other similar functional and tracking technologies typically used by websites and stored by a browser on the host device during, and possibly after, use of a website.

“Personal Information” is any information that identifies, or may be used to identify, an individual, where “individual” means any natural person.  Typically, this may include: your name; your home or other physical address; telephone number; email address or other identifiers such as social media accounts and /or usernames but can also include information automatically collected by Cookies.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

“Cookies” are small pieces of data that are stored by your browser as text files on your device such as your computer’s hard drive. We may use first-party and third-party cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, clear gifs, and other similar technologies to identify you and your interests, to remember your preferences, and to track your use of our Sites. We also use these to control access to certain content on our websites, to protect the websites, and to process any requests you make of us. Some of our Web Site activities are hosted by our Service Providers, which may, consistent with our “Cookie Policy” [below], place Cookies or other tracking technologies on your device. We also collect other data with respect to your use of the Site, such as IP address and browser type.

How We Use Cookies

We use Cookies for a number of different purposes. Some Cookies are necessary for technical reasons. Some Cookies enable a personalized experience for both visitors and registered users. Some of these Cookies may be set when a page is loaded, or when a visitor takes a particular action such as on the “contact me” page. We use Cookies to “remember” you and your preferences, either for a single visit (through a “session cookie”) or for multiple repeat visits (using a “persistent cookie”). They allow for a consistent and efficient experience for visitors. They perform essential functions such as allowing users to register and remain logged in. Cookies may be set by Amplity on the Site that you are visiting (known as “first-party cookies”), or by third parties, such as those who serve content or provide analytics services on the Web Site (“third-party cookies”).

Types of Cookies
The Cookies and similar technologies that we use fall under the following general types:

Strictly Necessary: These cookies are essential for our Sites to perform their basic functions. These include those required to allow registered users to authenticate and perform other related functions.

Security: We use these cookies to help identify and prevent potential security risks.

Functional: These cookies are used to store preferences set by users such as account name, language, and location.  They allow the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages.

Analytics and Performance: These cookies collect information on how users interact with our Web Site, including what pages are visited most often, as well as other analytical data.  Information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.  We use these details to improve how our Web Site functions and to understand how users interact with it.

Targeting: These cookies may be set through our site by our advertising partners. They may be used to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store personal information directly but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device.

Third-Party software, Ad Serving and Audience & Traffic Measurement Services

We may use a third-party network advertiser to serve the advertisements on our Site(s), or use a traffic measurement service (such as Google Analytics) to analyse website usage:
– Network advertisers are third parties that display advertisements based on your visits to our Site(s) and other websites you have visited. Third-party ad serving enables us to target advertisements to you for products, services or other websites you might be interested in.
– Audience and traffic measurement services allow us to collect anonymous traffic and behaviour information from our Site(s) by monitoring visitor activity.

Advertisers and other companies do not have access to the Cookies set by Amplity, and we do not share or sell Personal Information collected in this way, though we may share anonymised usage information.

Any third-party Cookie that we authorize for use on the Site only collects the information described below for the same stated purposes as if we were directly collecting the information. For a third-party Cookie, the third-party will have access to the collected information in order to provide us with information or services to enhance the performance and functionality of the Site.

The Cookies we use collect non-personally identifiable information about users of the Sites, including: browser used to access the site, date and time, the URL of the page being loaded, users who have visited a particular website(s), any previously assigned cookie identification (a unique identifier assigned to a user to identify repeat visitors), browser window size, the geographic location of the user, device and operating system used to access the Site(s). The information we collect from these cookies and web beacons is used to determine information about a user’s visit to our Sites, including the number of visits, average time spent, pages viewed, navigation history through the website, and other statistics. This information is used to enhance the user experience when visiting our Sites and to improve the performance of our Sites by, among other things, allowing us to monitor Site performance, making the Sites easier to use, measuring the effectiveness of promotional placements, and tailoring Sites (including the ads and offers a user receives) to better match a user’s interests and preferences.

Third-party advertisers, sponsors, and/or traffic measurement services may set and access their own Cookies on your computer during use of our Site(s), depending on the preferences that you have set in your browser.  Other companies’ use of their own Cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, and whilst Amplity takes reasonable care to ensure that this usage is compatible with our own policies, we are not responsible for their individual practices.

Amplity provides a convenient mechanism to allow users to control the use of different types of Cookies (our ‘cookie preference tool”), which shows up as a banner on the bottom of the screen from the first time a user accesses one of our Sites until they have made a preference selection.

Third Party Links

We may provide links to third-party websites and resources on our Site(s) to supplement our content and for informational purposes for your convenience. Third-party websites and resources are not bound by Amplity’s Data Privacy or and related policies.  Amplity does not endorse these third-party websites, nor are we responsible for their availability, content, delivery of products and services, or applicable terms of use or privacy policies. We encourage users to read the relevant third-party websites’ privacy policies.

Your Rights

You may choose to opt-out of the use of Cookies and other tools that are employed on the site.  You may do so using the cookie preference tool provided on our Sites, or by blocking,  clearing or disabling cookies via the settings on your browser or device.

Amplity also provides a simple opt-out mechanism to allow users to prevent the sale or sharing of their Personal Information by accepting only Strictly Necessary Cookies (defined above).
