Our Independent Board of Directors bring deep, world-class industry experience to their oversight and stewardship of the work we do to deliver on our mission.
Anup Gupta
Anup has over 30 years of global experience in finance, strategy, M&A, and operations. He is a proven leader and mentor with an international and entrepreneurial outlook, and strong ability to lead large and diverse teams.
With deep expertise in healthcare products and services, Anup has held C-level roles at organizations such as DRG, Parexel, and Cambrex, and several earlier-stage companies in life sciences. In addition, he has served on the boards of Analytical Wizards, PlanetOne, and Scient (Asia). He has led global operations across more than 50 countries; completed acquisitions in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia; and helped growth-stage startups achieve scale and critical mass.
Beyond his Board responsibilities at Amplity Health, he works with Nanobiosym, a new-age diagnostics company, to commercialize its technologies. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer of CDMO Avara Pharmaceutical Services, CFO/advisor to data and analytics firm Analytical Wizards, and CFO of CDMO Escientia Life Sciences. He led the sale of the last two companies to strategic aquirers. Anup’s early career spanned consulting on IT, eBusiness, and Strategy with the likes of Accenture, Scient, and BCG.
Anup holds Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from The National University of Singapore, and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.

Brian Tyburski
Most recently, Brian was Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations at Amplity Health. As of early 2024, he is now focused on actively supporting the business from his Board of Director position.
In addition, Brian has been appointed to Amplity’s Board of Directors. An entrepreneur known for his healthcare communications expertise, Brian has more than 20 years of leadership experience in a variety of publishing and information distribution platforms. Brian started his first company in 2002, where he identified an opportunity within the oncology care ecosystem to improve the lives of patients suffering from cancer and rare diseases. Drawing from a personal cancer experience and his awareness of the needs of stakeholders across the cancer care continuum, he founded a new company, The Lynx Group, in 2007. Throughout his career, Brian has kept pace with the latest and most significant advancements in oncology, and he is focused on his longtime commitment to fill the gaps in communication among pharma, research, educational institutions, and the healthcare providers that care for patients with cancer. His achievements in that regard include the development of numerous journals, seminars, and industry meetings, and he is continually directing his attention to growing an extensive network of providers and patients to better facilitate the ever-expanding flow of information. Brian enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the mountains of the west and the waterways of the east coast.
Hensley Evans
Hensley is an accomplished strategic thinker and advisor with more than 30 years of experience in strategic and financial consulting in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and consumer health. Her passion is helping organizations identify the “sweet spot” at the intersection of improved patient experiences and outcomes and positive business impact.
Hensley is currently a Senior Partner at ZS Associates, a consulting and technology firm, where she founded the Patient and Consumer Health Practice globally. After building the practice in the US, she moved to Zurich in 2018 to expand operations in Europe. In 2022, she assumed leadership of the Global Business Transformation Practice, which includes organizational design, process excellence, change enablement, and human capital strategy. Her personal focus continues to be helping organizations transform to become more patient focused and deliver better health outcomes to patients. Prior to joining ZS, Hensley refined her marketing strategy and digital health skills over 15 years of leadership roles at marketing and advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi Health and Wellness, imc2 Health and Wellness, and Harte-Hanks, preceded by 10 years in strategic consulting at Price Waterhouse Coopers and Andersen Consulting.
Hensley currently serves on several boards, including HealthPrize, AMREF Health Africa, and the Wallkill Valley Land Trust, and received a BA in Economics from Duke University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is an avid runner and rock climber and enjoys many other outdoor activities with her partner, Jason, and their daughter, Kaia.

Michael A. Griffith
Mike is a team builder who creates high-performance winning cultures, creates unique brand identities, grows revenues, and exceeds regulatory standards. He has a distinguished track record building and leading global pharmaceutical service businesses.
Most recently, Mike was President and Chief Executive Officer of Amplity Health before transitioning to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors in early 2024. Previously, Mike was an Operating Partner with Altamont Capital Partners (ACP) where he led the acquisition of the commercialization assets of Publicis Health, the predecessor of Amplity Health. ACP is a private equity firm with over $2.5 billion in capital under management, focused primarily on making long-term control investments in middle-market businesses.
In addition, Mike served as President of the Commercial Division of inVentiv Health and has led several pharmaceutical service businesses including Laureate Biopharma, Aptuit, and ChiRex. In addition, he has served on numerous public boards including Repligen, Axonyx and Centrue.

Tony Hooper
Tony has been a Board member since January 2020, following an illustrious tenure at the world’s largest biotech organization, Amgen, where he served as Executive Vice President, Global Commercial Operations since 2011.
Prior to joining Amgen, Mr. Hooper held senior global leadership positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), presiding over the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa operations for over 11 years.
Prior to joining BMS, Mr. Hooper was Assistant Vice President of Global Marketing for Wyeth Laboratories.
He also currently serves on the boards of MannKind Corporation, BeiGene Ltd, and Lykan Biosciences.
Mr. Hooper earned Law and MBA degrees from the University of South Africa.
